15 Mic Geronimo / Shit's Real
Coming out of Queens in 94 as Irv Gotti's first artist Mic Geronimo burst on to the seen with his classic "Shit's Real". The songs buzz lead to Irv and Mic landing a deal at Blunt/TVT Records as their first rap artist to be released. Mic than began work on his first album. Titled "The Natural", the album was a collection of deeply crafted street chronicles accompanied with production from some of that eras greatest producers. Buc Wild, Irv Gotti, Da Beatminerz, Marc Sparxx, and Havoc of Mobb Deep all contributed powerful beats to the lp. Mic also shared the company of such artist as Ja Rule, DMX, OC, Royal Flush and Jay-Z. The album instantly became a certified street classic. Taking a brief hiatus after touring Mic then began work on his 1996 follow up sophomore lp. This time, Mic teamed up with Diddy(formerly Puff Daddy) for the first single "Nothing Move But the Money". A mainstream hit at radio, the song was one of 15 bullets in his second effort "Vendetta". Vendetta was a transition lp, featuring the likes of The Lox, Ja Rule, DMX, Kelly Price, Jay-Z, and Monifah. For production, Mic turned to Buc Wild, Derrick "D.Dot" Angelitte, Pete Rock, Irv Gotti, and newcomers Kaysahn, and Father Time. Again solidifying himself as a thorough lyrisist, and even compared to such greats as Nas, Big L, and even Rakim, Vendetta became Mic's second classic. Deciding to part ways with TVT Records in 2000, Mic went on to establish his own label Rebellious Music. Distributed by Warlock/Red/Sony Rebellious Music was the home that would release Mic's third lp "The Long Road Back". The 2003 independent release was viewed by many as Mic's most personal album to date. A collection of pent of emotion put to music, Long Road was a dark journey at a dark time states Mic. Returning to his roots Mic worked again with Ja Rule, and DMX. With production duties handled mainly by in house producer Jimi Kendrix, and newcomers Needles, and Dat Nigga Reb, the lp was a low key success. Collabo's included Tyrese Gibson, DMX, and Ja Rule, along with Mics artist Virginia's own Blade Brown. Mic also has appeared on MTV's reality series "Sex in the 90's" and Marc Levine's cult film "Whiteboyz". As of present, Mic is working on his 4th release and pursuing a career in television and film. CHUBB ROCK & WORDSMITH NEW ALBUM "BRIDGING THE GAP" IN STORES
JUNE 16TH
“Bridging the Gap” is a collaboration album features hip-hop icon Chubb Rock and Baltimore’s underground King Wordsmith. Chubb had this to say about the deal: “The Bridging the Gap album has to be one of the most creative projects I have ever had the honor of being involved in.
I think I represented the Golden Era very well and though Wordsmith represents the new school, he has such a great knowledge and approach to his lyrics as well as his spirit on the whole album. This album is a keeper, just like Paid in Full, 3 Ft. High and Rising, you need The Bridging The Gap album…” This unique concept album is Hip-Hop in its truest!

INSPECTAH DECK PRESENTS " FES TAYLOR " FLIGHT 10304 (T-2 FLY) IN STORES NOW
Fes Taylor has acheieved what many artists only dream of: respect from all the generations of Hip-Hop. Earlier in his career, he was known as Profess, and was a member of King Just's Shaolin Soldiers, the first group to ever perform at Hot 97's Summer Jam. He enjoyed a burgeoning solo career, but never quite got off the ground. Later, however, Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck asked him to join his elite crew, The Housegang Animals, who then released just one classic mixtape. The crew was splintered and redisbursed among several other Wu-Affiliated groups, but Fes stayed loyal to Deck, becoming the lyrical master's own personal protege, as well as a great stylist and lyricist in his own right. A member of the two-man crew, The Heart Foundation, Fes now found himself a G-Unit affiliate as well, possibly the only man able to walk comfortably in both circles! Always garnering his own respect and fans in the process, Fes has tirelessly released underground street albums, DVDs and mixtapes. The only thing eluding him now would be an official retail solo album, Flight 10304 (T2Fly). Wu-Tang legend Inspectah Deck cosigns Fes Taylor for this, his first ever solo excursion into Hip-Hop history. Appearing with Fes, are, of course Deck, Shyheim (Wu-Tang), Lota Nerv, Mr. Prez (Heart Foundation/G-Unit), and many others. Producers include Chad Beats, Falling Down, G-Clef da Mad Komposa, Flip, Blastah Beats, and others.
A native of New York City, Fes Taylor was born in Harlem and raised in Staten Island. This very talented MC realized early in his childhood that he had a passion for one thing: music. Before long his passion for music would prompt him to start perfecting his craft, soon this local prodigy could be found ripping apart talent shows and battling MC’s everywhere he could to gain his respect as a rapper. Impressed with his deep lyrical content and hardcore edge, Blackfist Records made him one of the original Shaolin Soldiers. Soon after, the MC then known as Profes made his debut on King Just’s 1994 album entitled Mystics of the God. The album sold over 300,000 copies and was an astonishing success.
This afforded Profes the opportunity to rise to another level. He began touring for shows such as Freaknic in Atlanta, Jack the Rapper in Florida, and the very first Hot 97’s Summer Jam held in New Jersey. Although he had much success with Blackfist Records, it was short lived. The label would eventually fall apart, leaving Profes to sign with Pinnacle Records, an independent label. It was while with Pinnacle Entertainment, that Profes released his first solo single Party On/Decision. The single sold over 10,000 copies in the U.K. and Africa. However, it wasn’t long before the young MC found himself once again, on his own.
With unstoppable will and determination that was not to be reckoned with, Fes Taylor founded Two 4 War Entertainment in early 2000. This allowed him to release an independent solo album on the streets, which in the long run sold over 20,000 copies. His on going passion would also lead him to do background vocals for an independent film titled Kings of the Streets, a hip hop documentary. In the following years, “Taylor 2 Fly” kept flooding the streets and the internet with a series of underground projects ranging from mixtapes and compilations to DVD’s and albums.
His work ethic eventually caught the attention of Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck who asked Fes to join his new Housegang Animalz crew. The group released just one classic mixtape and was then splintered and redisbursed among several other Wu-affiliated groups, but Fes stayed loyal to Deck, becoming the lyrical master’s own personal protégé, as well as a great stylist and lyricist in his own right.
Taylor also formed a two-man group with long time friend Mr. Prezident called Heart Foundation. The duo’s swagger and energy impressed G-Unit affiliate Mazaradi Fox so much that he made the Heart Foundation members of the G-Unit/Dumout family.
Having earned the respect of well-known established artists and fans worldwide, the timing was now perfect for Fes to release his first retail solo album. So, he signed a deal with new indie label Chambermusik Records/Koch for the release of Flight 10304 (T-2 Fly). This official debut is co-signed by Wu-Tang legend Inspectah Deck and features the Rebel INS himself, Shyheim, Mr. Prezident, Lot-A-Nerv, T-Bird and many more. Production is handled by Falling Down, Flip, Blastah Beatz, G-Clef da Mad Komposa, Chad Beats, and others. Fes Taylor is about to take off, so you better strap yourself in.

The Cash Administration presents" Da Resume mixtape IN april!! feat Bun B,Maino, Papoose!!
Cashmere…has been creating a heavy buzz in the music industry. Going hard on underground mix tapes for the last couple of years, Cash is ready to bring the “pain” to the game. Cash has patiently waited for his turn, and his time is now. Cashmere grew up in the rough and rugged Linden Plaza Projects in Brooklyn, New York. Like a common story to most African American families, Cash's childhood was not east to say the least. Cash had to deal with watching his brothers do more time in prison then they spent on the street or at home. Cash’s childhood is what made him strong and experienced. He ended up falling into the lifestyle of a gangster not by choice.. He was forced to live by the street code of gangs, drugs, and guns. Cashmere found out the hard way what the term “product of your environment” really means...
But what has made him stand out??? It is his ability to overcome and grasp situations in which he can better himself and his family. Cash knew once and for all he had to leave the garbage behind… Cash knew he had to do something about it, hence no better time than now.
He has earned his spot in Hip Hop. His ability to slow rhyme, fast rhyme and unique metaphors have not been unnoticed by the Hip Hop community. Joe'll Ortiz's “Brooklyn Anthem” remix was a powerful New York banger that brought cashmere quite a bit of respect in the Apple City and World Wide. Cash gives credits to those affiliations and organizations that helped him get the respect and buzz he continues to create on a daily basis. They know who they are. Given the hard work he and his team have put in he currently operates under his independent label The Cash Administration. Which future ventures include expanding into the retail and barber businesses.
Cash has done work with well known Dj's such as Kay Slay,E Nyce,Clue, and Funkmaster Flex. Cashmere and DJ P cutta created “The Proposal part 2” mix tape, which is available at www.thecashadministration.com (currently under construction but mix tape is available), along with other Cash bangers. He also has worked with notable mc's such as Lil Boosie,Webbie,Maino,Razah,Jim Jones, Akon, J Shin, Bun B, and Big Daddy Kane to name a few. You may have also seen him on such DVD mix tapes as Smack,The Come Up,Cocaine City, and various hip hop DVD’s.
In the famous words of Clinton Sparks, “get familiar” because he is what the game has been missing, a true talent in all forms. He knows where he comes from and knows what needs to be done to stay on the path of a true legend. Having faith in God first all else will follow…. Cashmere’s heavily anticipated release Vol.1 “The Leak” hosted by D Blake, will be out in a few days!!! Featuring the likes of Jim Jones,J Shin,Akon,Bun B,Maino and superb production by Charlie Brown, GM, and Qwan to name a few, plus a lot more!!! The album is a complete banger top to bottom hands down!! Take a ride down the life of one of Hip Hop’s truest talent, you will not be sorry! The Cash man is here……!!!
“If Given The Right Situation? I know I will be a Legend…”-Cashmere

ILLA GHEE is the future Boss of Da Bosses. Possessing a unique blend of hardcore lyrics to go along with a veteran's delivery, and a street savvy flow, this BK native is poised for a quiet takeover. Born and raised in Brooklyn's own Sumner Housing Projects (aka Sumnerville, aka Outta Bounds NYC), ILLA would make the smooth transition from street Pharmacist to rising MC stardom. After making a memorable appearance on Mobb Deep's Hell On Earth LP ("Can't Get Enough Of It"), GHEE had the misfortune of falling victim to the streets. As a result of this untimely encounter with the law, Illa had to do a 6-year bid in VA, and postpone his spot as BK's next boss. Upon his release in 2002, Illa picked up right where he left off before his incarceration. He recorded at a break neck pace and, found himself being placed in DJ Kay Slay's "Best of Freestyles" top ten for his "3 Million Freestyle". Soon after, Ghee recorded "Medicine Rap" featuring Prodigy of Mobb Deep. The song made it's way onto DJ Kay Slay's Street Sweepers Vol. 5 edition mixtape. After the Street Sweepers mixtape flooded the streets, ILLA GHEE appeared on Mobb Deep's LandSpeed released "Free Agents" Mixtape, which sold over 650,000 copies. Still unsigned but working at a feverish pace, ILLA GHEE managed to appear on DJ Big Mike's West Coast Mixtape, Mobb Deep's Murda Muzik Soundtrack, DJ Mello's Chemical Files Mixtape, P-Cutta's Street Wars 12 Mixtape, DJ Premier's Step Ya Game Up Mixtape, DJ Onpoint's Exclusive Radio Mixtape Vol. 1, DJ Kay Slay's Street Sweepers Protect Ya Neck Mixtape, and the Payola Bros. Street Beef Vol. 8. Unfazed by the industry politics that began to follow him because of his Mobb Deep affiliation, ILLA GHEE kept working and his hard work finally paid off. World famous hip hop producer The Alchemist, tapped Illa Ghee to appear alongside himself, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, and Nina Sky on the bangin street anthem "Hold U Down". Armed with just his lyrical talent and veteran work ethic, ILLA GHEE spit one of the hottest verses of the year ("For all da niggaz I war for/blow da 44 for) and, made a name for himself by holding his own with the other heavyweights on the song. He raised the bar for other up and coming unsigned artists by appearing on a Top 40 radio hit, receiving over 200 BDS Spins per week, and having a video airing on BET's Rap City and MTV2. With the help of his Production Company Mixtape Merchants Ent., ILLA GHEE has completed 6 highly acclaimed street mixtapes. Body Music, The DJ Pistol Pete hosted "Best Known Secret", "Closed Session" mixtape featuring Prodigy of Mobb Deep. "New York Crunk", "When Illa Attacks Primo Beats", MTVs Mixtape mondays Honorable mention "Myrtle & Throop" (2006) and his critically acclaimed full length LP "Bullet and A Bracelet" (2007) his latest c.d. In 2004 an artist from New Jersey emerged amidst the gun-clappers and body-baggers of the current climate of hip-hop to become a staple for the diversity still present within our culture. With the release of his debut album Paradise Lost, Hasan Salaam garnered heavy attention for his poetically charged tales of unabridged truth, guiding his pen through an array of personal, political, and historical subjects.
Many people make comparisons as to who Hasan may sound like, voice or topics, but the passion that he projects through every line that he delivers is unparalleled.
“Just in case you didn’t know, this is X’s and O’s/ I put my life into the pen and pad, booth in the show.” – Insomniac
The dedication he put into Paradise Lost earned him two awards at the 3rd Underground Music Awards in August of 2005, imprinting a successful debut to the hip hop world. “Blaxploitation” won for Song of the Year and his raw energy and stage presence earned him Performance of the Year.
Shortly after the release of Paradise Lost he released a mixtape album entitled Tales of the Lost Tribe: Hidden Jewels, feeding his fans with another dose of reality music filled with street knowledge and imagery. As a result of his following, Hasan has been blessed with many opportunities to travel and perform his music at venues around the country and beyond.
This past year he was apart of a four date tour of the U.K. and in the fall was invited by artist Akir to perform 12 cities on Redman’s Red Gone Wild Tour which exposed Hasan to fans in Omaha, Nebraska, Aspen, Colorado, and Chicago, Illinois to name a few.
Although the microphone is Hasan’s premier weapon of influence, it isn’t his only platform to speak to the people.
At P.S. 41 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Hasan developed and implemented a curriculum with the purpose of teaching chess and exploring creative writing
techniques. Students in his class were also granted the opportunity to experience the process of music production and engineering at two different studios.
When asked about his role within the community the humble emcee replied, “I wanted to help the kids stay in school and have kids interested in learning. Because if you don’t recognize the power that you have (as a musician) you’re a fool and if you deny the power that you have you’re a fool.”
“Cause nowadays kids grow up so fast/ my advice slow down before your whole life pass” – Fountain Of Youth At the Essex County Youth House in Newark, New Jersey, Hasan was also involved in workshops that taught young brothers about the music business, song structure, history and politics. His involvement with the community is not only with the youth but with the adult population as well. At Eastern NY Correctional Facility in Napanoch, NY, he has performed his craft for many of the inmates in addition to working with organizers to boycott MCI due to the unfair rates they charged prisoners for collect calls.
With a heart of passion fueled by the love for family, unity, religion, and music, Hasan Salaam will be pouring it all out on his projects for this upcoming year. The yet to be titled prelude to his sophomore effort Life in Black and White will serve as a mere sedative for the fans itching to hear more of his20lyrical prowess, yet fulfilling every expectation of excellence.
**Hasan Salaam has performed all over the East Coast including nationally aired performances on NBC's "Showtime at the Apollo", FUSE TV's "Digital Downloads", MUN2 TV's "The Roof", Music Plus TV, and at the Anti-War Rally March on C-SPAN. Gaining exposure in the underground, Hasan eventually edged forward opening performances for the legendary Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaata, Curtis Blow, Wyclef, Naughty by Nature, Busta Rhymes, Black Moon, Floetry, Common, and dead prez.**
RUGGED N RAW BIOGRAPHY
Over the years, Rugged N Raw has developed his raw, uncut style on the microphone, making his one of the best up and coming artists around. In addition to his talents as an emcee, he is also one of the best producers you'll ever hear; with beats ranging from slow and melodic to fast-paced. He is an all-around talent that is a rarity in a business where most only succeed in one area or the other. RNR has performed at quite a few spots and won some competitions along the way. In addition to winning song competitions and emcee battles, he is also a 7-Time Beat Battle Champion and the current IPA Beat Battle Grand Champion and Newark's MTP Grand Champion, proving he is the most versatile unsigned phenomenon out there. Rugged N Raw has shared the stage with the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Serius Jones, Immortal Technique, Grandmaster Caz, C Rayz Walz, Eyedea & Abilities, Akir, 5 Ft. of Black
Moon, Amanda Diva from MTV2, Poison Pen, Kevin Michael, Eternia, Mr. Lif, Polyrhythm Addicts, Dame Grease, RAMP and Rob Sonic.
Rugged N Raw has all the tools to make it in this difficult business. He is bringing more to the table than the average hip hop artist. He is unique in his approach to making music, contagiously catchy as well as a breath of fresh air in an industry clouded with the same monotonous undertone. Without a doubt, you will be hearing a lot from him more very soon.

“Che Broadway is the gritty, grimy, Brooklyn phenom. His street-wise and intellectual lyrics are what New York has been waiting to stand behind, and the hip-hop world has been salivating for. Picture the lyrical prowess of Nas and the charisma of Jay-Z in the body of Eminem.”
Che Broadway was New York born and Brooklyn bred. His universal sound is flourishing with today’s influx of new and exciting talent. Broadway is a technical EmCee with a smooth, near intoxicating flow, coupled with an angelic-slash-demonic delivery. These aspects alone create a force to be reckoned with in the underground movement. But the trait that sets Broadway apart from the rest is his subject matter. He masterfully intertwines a full spectrum of reality checking with dynamic scene layout creating a vivid picture for the listener in every verse.
Che Broadway has been featured on mixtapes in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Tulsa, Buffalo, Oakland/San Francisco,Toronto, London, Berlin, Paris, Oslo, Warsaw, Tokyo and beyond! His verbally exhibited thoughts have been showcased at such places as: S.O.B.’s (NYC), Peppers (NYC), The Knitting Factory (NYC), Nuyorican Poets Cafe (NYC), Bowery Poetry Club (NYC), Club Temple (NYC), Remote Lounge (NYC), The Stinger Club (BKNY), The Trash Bar (BKNY), Buttafly (BKNY), Despot 88 (BKNY), Forest Hills Stadium (Queens), Metropole (Pittsburgh), Cozumel’s (Pittsburgh), The Dublin Castle (London), Betsey Trotwood (London), The Miller (London), Kesselhaus (Berlin), Club2BE (Berlin), The Yin Yang Music Cafe (Atlanta), Rider University (NJ), SUNY New Paltz (NY), Temple University (PA), American International College (MA), RadioHipHop.com, ThatCrack.com, DatPiff.com, RapBasement.com, BlackInQ.com, MixtapePass.com, RapMusic.com, JamWave Radio, No Coast Radio as well as infinite open mics, battles and block parties across the globe. Broadway has shared a stage with hip-hop greats like KRS-ONE and Kool G. Rap, as well as Busta Rhymes, Buckshot, Heltah Skeltah, Smif-N-Wessun, Wu-Tang Clan, Cannibal Ox, The Saian Supa Crew and many more.

SMILEY THE GHETTO CHILD / MONEY MACHINE MIXTAPE IN STORES NOW
SQUALA ORPHAN ALBUM " UNHEARD CRIES " IN STORES NOW
Born in Harlem and raised in New York City's toughest neighborhood
(The Bronx), Smiley The Ghetto Child's history runs deep. Some of Smiley's early milestones included ghost-writing for both Black Sheep and Chi Ali. Smiley later went on to hook up with his cousin Melachi The Nutcracker and helped orchestrate Group Home's classic Hiphop album Livin Proof, which was entirely produced by the legendary DJ Premier of Gang Starr. Smiley was featured on "The Realness", which many viewed as a standout track from the LP. A music video was scheduled to be shot for “The Realness,” which Smiley was supposed to play a major part in, but during that period Smiley caught a case and was locked up due to "extra curricular activities.” This unfortunate intermission stopped what could have been a promising career for Smiley during the golden age of Hip Hop. With that past in his rear-view mirror, Smiley The Ghetto Child will make up for lost time on 5-2-06 with the release of his debut LP—The Antidote!
A shade under a decade later, Smiley triumphantly returned when he
hooked back up with his Gang Starr affiliates, by appearing on (“Werdz
From The Ghetto Child”) Gang Starr’s 2003 opus The Ownerz. Re-embraced
by his Gang Starr cohorts and the public, in 2005 Smiley released his
DJ Premier produced single “The Wake Up Call,” which also featured
production from Showbiz and Sebb (G-Unit & Infamous Mobb). The vinyl
only single went on to become Fat Beats best seller in 2005. Later
that year Smiley hit the road for two major tours; including the first 60=20
Dates on the "Weapons of MIC Destruction Tour" with Ghostface,
Pharoahe Monch, M.O.P. and Cormega. Smiley closed out 2005 by touring
with Linkin Park and M.O.P.
With a fast growing fan base starving for a raw street record, Smiley
The Ghetto Child offers up his debut, The Antidote, a spring cure all
that is sure to be hailed on the block as a return to the “realness.”
Though the legendary WC of Westside Connection swings thru on
“L.A.N.Y.”, Smiley goes against the grain and kept guest appearances to
a minimum on his debut, preferring to let his own talents shine thru.
Smiley does reunite with DJ Premier on The Antidote, as Premier
produces the “The Wake Up Call” and adds vocals too “Everything.” The
Antidote also features production from Showbiz, Green Lantern and Sebb.

“LINKIN PARK” tour titled “PROJEKT REVOLUTION” an annual music festival
hosted by the 2 time Grammy Award Winning rock band themselves. SQUALA

While on both tours,20acquiring a devoted fan base, SQUALA ORPHAN independently, distributed over 10,000 promotional mix-tapes once again proving to be a colossal force in the hip-hop business.
On his forthcoming album titled “Unheard Cries” SQUALA ORPHAN who is an
independent artist, displays for his listeners something new. “Fast
